Management Science (°æ¿µ°úÇÐ) for Undergraduates, 2008 1Çбâ

This course presents a practical approach to understand the principles of management science and to apply them to business decision problems.
Developing models and solving them using Excel spreadsheet, one learns how important and useful the scientific decision making based on management science principles is for solving problems in real-world business applications.

Focusing on management science modeling skills, this course covers linear programming, simplex method, sensitivity analysis, transportation models, integer programming, and others (as time permitted).

Business Simulation (°æ¿µ ½Ã¹Ä·¹À̼Ç) for Undergraduates and MBAs, 2008 1Çбâ

This course presents an introduction to the concepts, methodologies, and applications of simulation in business. Throughout the course, we take the perspective of the consultant whose job is to analyze stochastic decision problems by building a simulation model and using it to understand the behavior of the system and explore the effects of alternative decisions.

Using Excel as the foundation for covering basic principles about simulation models, business students learn how important and useful the scientific decision making based on simulation model is for solving stochastic problems in real-world business applications. Students will learn many applications domains of simulation, from stochastic financial problems to discrete-event models.
